About the Design
This design brings together three meaningful trees from African and African diasporic traditions. The Baobab (center), known as the Tree of Life, represents strength, wisdom, and survival in Africa. The Live Oak (right) stands for resilience and protection and is often seen as a spiritual gathering place in Gullah Geechee and Black American communities. The Kapok Tree (left) is considered sacred in Caribbean and Central American cultures and is believed to be a home for ancestral spirits. Together, these trees tell a story of heritage, survival, and deep roots that connect people across time and place.
About the Hoodie
This mid-weight fleece hoodie brings quiet confidence and everyday comfort to your wardrobe. The soft three-end fleece and ring-spun cotton blend feel gentle against skin, while the adjustable hood and spacious kangaroo pocket create a lived-in, practical piece you’ll reach for again and again. Clean lines, durable double-needle topstitching, and thoughtful details like twill neck tape and tear-away label make it feel carefully made. Subtle embroidery placement options let you personalize the front without overpowering the minimalist graphic. Wear it on cool mornings, late-night rehearsals, or slow weekends—this hoodie settles into your routine and ages well with you.
