About the Design
This design brings together three meaningful trees from African and African diasporic traditions. The Baobab (center), known as the Tree of Life, represents strength, wisdom, and survival in Africa. The Live Oak (right) stands for resilience and protection and is often seen as a spiritual gathering place in Gullah Geechee and Black American communities. The Kapok Tree (left) is considered sacred in Caribbean and Central American cultures and is believed to be a home for ancestral spirits. Together, these trees tell a story of heritage, survival, and deep roots that connect people across time and place.
About the Cropped Hoodie
Lightweight and casually cropped, this hooded sweatshirt carries a soft bouquet graphic across the chest — bright petals that feel like a sunlit porch and a late-afternoon breeze. The relaxed cropped silhouette layers easily over high-waist jeans or a slip dress, while the adjustable hood and ribbed cuffs keep it comfortably lived-in. Wear it on slow mornings with coffee, at weekend markets, or as a bright layer on cool summer nights. The double-stitched seams and midweight fabric give it structure that holds up to regular wear, and the tear-away label keeps the neckline clean. It’s an upbeat, everyday piece that reads like a small floral moment you can take with you everywhere.
